INTERNS & VOLUNTEERS
 

The California Music Industry Summit is seeking excited and friendly volunteers to assist with the organization and success of this years 2013 event. This is an amazing opportunity, especially for college students, to learn first hand what it takes to create and run a successful campaign in the entertainment industry. As a volunteer you will spend one day assisting at CMIS in the capacity of either conference support or artist showcase support. As a support volunteer you will have the opportunity to gain experience by working the conference production or either the Music Production.

In addition to being able to gain invaluable first-hand experience in the entertainment industry, Volunteers will be able to attend this spectacular two-day event, absolutely free! That’s a $200 dollars savings, that will allow you to network, speak with seasoned industry professionals, enjoy the summit, and talent portions of the event, with no out of pocket expense! Interested parties should communicate their interest in opportunities by submitting the below form no later than April 1, 2013.

 




Some positions may have limited hours available a couple of days before the event. Volunteers are required to:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Work a minimum of 6 hours
  • Attend (2) mandatory meeting
  • Attend CMIS social mixer
  • Attend the Conference Walk Thru (This will be 1 of the 2 mandatory meetings)
  • Have a valid email address
  • Have a valid phone #
  • Be responsible for working with CMIS Group Team Lead to create your schedule
  • Stick to the Volunteer Support Policies and Guidelines
